Engagement programs report what they sent. Tens of thousands of suggestions delivered, coverage across the base, numbers that are easy to produce and say little about what happened next.
The informative number is the share acted on inside the cycle. It is usually available in the CRM already, and it changes every conversation about the program.
What moves acceptance, in order
- Deliver inside the system the team already has open
- Attach the reason and evidence to every action
- Send fewer, better-ranked actions per cycle
Nobody opens a conversation on the strength of a rank. A suggestion that can be explained in one sentence to the person across the desk gets used, and adding that one sentence is usually the cheapest improvement available.
A smaller set of well-explained actions consistently gets more use than a larger set without reasons.
