Most launch plans are detailed about the launch event and vague about the year before it. Yet the questions that decide early uptake are answered, or left open, in that year: who the first patients are, which accounts will move first, what data is licensed, how payers will decide, how the field is sized and what will be read in the first weeks.
Turning readiness into a working plan
- Give each question an owner and a date. An open question early in the year is normal; an open question with no owner a few months before launch is a risk.
- Answer with evidence you can trace. Patient-level demand built from claims and epidemiology, with the assumptions shown, beats a top-down share curve.
- Agree the leading indicators before day one. New-to-brand starts by segment, time from prescription to first fill and payer decisions by plan are read weekly against plan.
We help launch teams settle these questions early and keep them visible as launch unfolds. How we help at launch.
