How we handleyour information.
What we collect, why we collect it, who it reaches, and how to ask us to change or remove it.
Who we are
PrecisionNeXT provides commercial analytics and operations services to life sciences organisations. For enquiries made through this site we act as a data controller. During a client engagement we generally act as a data processor, handling data only on our client's documented instructions under a data processing agreement.
Privacy questions and data requests: .
What we collect, and why
When you contact us
- Your name, work email, company and role, plus anything you write in the message field.
- If you book a meeting, the slot and time zone you selected.
Form submissions are delivered to our inbox by Web3Forms, a third-party form relay. We use the information to reply to you, prepare for the conversation and keep a record of what was discussed. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, or steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
When you browse
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider keeps standard, short-lived server logs — IP address, time and page requested — for security and reliability.
During an engagement
Client data is processed under the terms of the engagement contract and its data processing agreement. Where a project involves health data or other special category data, processing is governed by that agreement, applicable de-identification standards and the client's own lawful basis. We do not use client data to train general-purpose models.
Who we share it with
- Form delivery. Web3Forms relays submissions from this site to our inbox.
- Hosting. This site is served as static files by our hosting provider.
- Email and productivity. Standard business software used to reply and keep records.
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising.
International transfers
Our team and some providers are located outside the UK and EEA. Where personal data is transferred, we rely on UK and EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision, together with additional safeguards where the transfer risk assessment calls for them.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Engagement records: for the term of the contract plus the period required by that contract and applicable law.
Your rights under GDPR and equivalent laws
Where we are the controller, you have the right to:
- Access — ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — have inaccurate data corrected.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your data where we have no overriding reason to keep it.
- Restriction — ask us to pause processing while a question is resolved.
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Email . We respond within one month, free of charge unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive. You may also complain to your supervisory authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office. If we hold your data as a processor for a client, we will direct your request to that client, who is the controller.
US state privacy rights
If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia or a state with comparable law, you may request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in those laws. Use the same contact address above.
Security
We apply least-privilege access controls, encryption in transit and at rest, logging and review of access to client environments, and supplier due diligence. Client analytics work is performed in the client's own environment wherever the engagement allows.
Changes
We update this notice when our practices change; the date at the top always reflects the current version.
What this site stores
Nothing that identifies you. Pages are served as static files and no cookie is written by us when you browse, read an article or book a meeting.
Third-party services
- Google Fonts serves the typeface. Your browser requests the font file from Google, which receives your IP address as part of that request.
- Web3Forms relays a form to our inbox when — and only when — you submit one.
- LinkedIn and YouTube are plain links. Those services apply their own policies once you visit them.
If this changes
If we ever add analytics, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent before any non-essential cookie is set.
